b) Awarded with the honorary “LATE HARIRAM CHIMANDAS PUNJABI NSS KARAMVEER AWARD” on the occasion of NSS Foundation Day 2021 as an ex. Programme Officer, Margherita college. The award dedicated to NSS Programme Officers (College Level) for their seamless execution by the Krisha Foundation, Mumbai.

c) Awarded as “Best Teacher” among 19 teachers selected from all over India and sole personal in entire North-East to get this award in the year 2021 by SSHP(Himachal Pradesh Sociology
society).The award has been presented on 11 th November,2021 in an International convention on the theme “Sustainable Development Goals, Development and Tourism in Indian Himalayan Region and Beyond”.

d)Corona Warrior Award on July 14 th 2021 by R2F Montessori Teachers Training Centre, Ledo & Let’s Spread Knowledge Educational Team, Assam for providing support to the society.

e)Honoured with prestigious “Nrigosthiyo Samaj Hitoishi Samman,2021” by the Centre for Ethnic Studies and Research, Guwahati for his selfless and immense contribution towards society. Tarali Das, Deputy secretary, Higher Education Department, Assam presented the award to Dr Saikia at a function organized in Guwahati on Sunday in synchronization with the Fifth Anniversary of the Centre for Ethnic Studies and research.
