An All Assam Essay Writing Competition was held by Bir Raghab Moran Government Model College, Doomdooma in collaboration with Samayan Group of Publications in memory of famous Assamese literary figure, Late. Homen Borgohain. The competition was organised among students from Class five (V) to Class eight (VIII). The competition was initiated by Chief Advisor, Dr. Amorjit Saikia, Nipom Kalita, Dr. Pranjal Talukdar and members from the Samayan group.
