Celebration of Anti-Superstition Day  12/10/2021

Ellora Vigyan Mancha, Doomdooma in association the Department of Assamese, Bir Raghava Moran Government Model College celebrated the birthday of Hemchandra Baruah, as anti-superstition day as a tribute to the great persona. Martyr Khargeshwar Talukdar is also remembered with respect on the holy occasion of this day. The principal of our college Dr. Amorjit Saikia, Arjun Baruadev, the president of Tinsukia District Sahitya Sabha, the president of the Doomduma branch of Ellora Vigyan Mancha, Dr. Badal Ghosh, Advocate Tarini Deka Dev, graced the event with their auspicious presence. Dr. Pronita Neogwas the speaker of the event. The main objective of organizing the event is to create a sense of awareness about superstition among the new generation. The program came to a success with the active cooperation of the students and the participation of the teachers of the college.
